The
times when the once lonely back roads and trails of BC
were used by shepherds, herders, and packers, driving
their flocks to and from grazing areas are no more.
These hardy people worked
under conditions so different from ours and were true
pioneers of this province. Others have continued to
tend sheep, but in a different way. They also have
contributed to the sheep industry.
